Works great. We had to hit it once to avoid an accident with someone who wasn't sure where they were going. One way or another, our pup hit the brakes and flew away, but was saved by the suspension and seat belt. Later that day, still tied up, she tried to jump out of the car and I could see how safe it was. No big deal, she was fine. I find the combination of good suspension and a belt amazing. Bought this for her when she was a tiny pup weighing 5lbs. Now she weighs 15 pounds and is still growing and is still doing well. DO NOT attach the seat belt to the collar. It's amazing what you have to say, but I've had to tell people not to do it and I've seen people do it.
