Bought this kit to "clean up" my RaspberryPi projects. Projects like this usually leave my desk cluttered with cables, wires, power supplies, etc. This kit comes with a circuit prototyping pin block that fits securely into the mounting tray and sits conveniently next to the bolt-on Raspberry Pi, with no case. on the same platform. The included cable and connector makes it very convenient to extend the RPi's 40-pin GPIO bus to the pin block. A few wires from the pin block connector were also appreciated. I think the unused part of the platform can be used for Arduino board. Good for battery installation. All in all, a very worthwhile purchase at a great price. Too bad I didn't know about this product before! Stumbled upon this while looking for something different.
