We searched and searched for the largest litter box that would fit in a Merry Pet Products litter box and vanity. This fit the bill. Most large pots have a rim that is too high, which would partially block the Funky Pet's doorway. And the smaller ones were smaller pans and I wanted to make the most of the space for my boys. This no-detachable hood starter pan is perfect for Merry Pet. I was a bit worried because the dimensions seemed too big, but that's about right. We will be buying the exact same pan again when it comes time to replace the old one, that's for sure - never thought I'd find the right size pan, no need to search again! (Overall this is a good sturdy pot and the extra open lid is nice. The small food/water bowl is pretty much useless, too small.)
