Review on Capetsma Fish Breeding Box: Acrylic Isolation & Incubation System for Baby Fish, Shrimp, Clownfish, and Guppies by Becky Duncan

I really like the design of this parent box. I received this box while waiting for my diapers to be delivered and today I found the first kittens. The box was very easy to assemble and I was able to safely transfer the new fry to the breeding box. I watched the fry for about an hour, slowly swimming around the box until they suddenly slipped between the cracks! At first I thought I saw something but then I realized the poor guy was stuck outside and in full view of the other fur seals. After some quick scrambling I was able to scoop the fry into the cup and back into the box but she must have remembered how to get out and scrambled back out. This means that very small juvenile fish CAN slip through the gaps. I finally found some old panty hose and cut them open to wrap around the box so water could still flow freely into the box while the roasts were safe. Inside. TLDR: Very small juveniles CAN and WILL slip through the gaps, so consider using a thin mesh material to wrap the box to prevent the juveniles from escaping. Otherwise the design is great!
