These skates are very strong and the wheels have a good rubber section. I need to get another pair of these wheels asap. I needed a black pair so I could paint them later. The material of the boot is plastic on the outside, similar to a thick plastic bowl but with some flexibility. The inside is covered with a wafer-thin padding layer.
