Thing brings back memories from elementary school. It works great - almost sharpens my pencils to death. I haven't tried to mount it tightly as I use it at work and thought people might get mad if I poke holes in my walls. I got it to suck after a bit of trial and error (at first it just popped out on its own) by wiping my table down with a dab of rubbing alcohol (the kind you wash your hands with at bar grills). ), then, while my table was still damp from the alcohol, I pressed down on the tip of the sharpener while twisting the lever so it stuck. It's been on for a week now and there's no sign of it coming off so I think it's ok now.
