First of all, these little paring knives are just as badass as the other Victorinox knives. But don't turn your back on them. I wanted this set to have different colors for different tasks - one color for veggies, one color for meat, etc. And they're great for that. But the balance is off. The handle is heavier than the blade, so you can't rely on traditional blade geometry to keep a small knife flat on the plate. Will it sit still or will it slide and spin a few times? Seconds after you put it down.?! I do not know.! Annoying, of course, but otherwise they work great. This annoying discrepancy is easily fixed by placing a folded paper towel, napkin, or blade safe underneath. If you spend time on it. (and probably should) Any other knife with a decent weight-to-geometry ratio will usually stay in place for a few seconds. But not this one. Call them "Sit and Turn Knives" to capitalize on the strange nature they manifest so easily - like a little perpetuum mobile. They are also very sharp. You will definitely never get bored. And the bright colors are designed to help ensure they don't get lost or lost. The 4 inch model remains my favorite size of paring knives that Victorinox makes.
