I wanted to add tweeter to my 2015 Subaru Forester but the tweeter kit offered by Subaru is almost $100. I'm not a music lover so I don't see a need to spend that kind of money, especially when a decent pair of tweeters is under $20. Problem? Well, tweeter placement doesn't allow for much variation (i.e. you really need to use the tweeters sold by Subaru as there are very few tweeter options that will fit properly). I did a little research, found these adapters and decided to give it a try. They are perfect for the ranger. These adapters offer good flexibility for different tweeter sizes. I used the tweeter as a template and enlarged the hole on the adapter to fit the tweeter. I used a small amount of marine grade silicone to attach the tweeters to the adapter, screwed the adapter into the tweeter housing and voila, the tweeters are in place and working perfectly.
