This works well, but I had to tuck bits and pieces of the fast food napkin over and under my SSD before closing the case to keep it from bouncing up and down inside the case. The case consists of two parts that fit together after the SSD is inserted and snapped in, and screwed together to prevent accidental opening, however, the SSD is not screwed inside the case. It comes with a 6 inch USB-C to USB-A cable. So if you buy this case with a USB-C socket to use it on a computer with a USB-C socket, you will need a USB cable. -C to USB-C cable which is not included. The purpose of a USB-C case is to take advantage of the data transfer speeds, so you need a USB-C to USB-C cable. The data rate corresponds to the rate of the slowest connection
