If your neighbor has a 60-y.o. patio door.

and she wants help finding a new handle, this just might work. I had to shorten the shortest bolts sent with the handle - package included 3 sets of differing lengths,, very thoughtful - to accommodate a 1"-thick aluminum frame. The two screws holding the wood handle onto the metal frame aren't filling me with confidence, but she's able to go in and out of her door again - so far, so good. Locking mechanism was a straight replacement for the old lock. BE VERY CAREFUL TO COMPARE ALL MEASUREMENTS BETWEEN HOLE CENTERS IN THE LOCK AND THE HANDLE WITH THE PARTS BEING REMOVED.
