Review on Schwinn 🚲 Bicycle Training Wheels by Mike Campbell

Revainrating 2 out of 5

I did not receive the one in the photo, very difficult installation

The black braces I received did not match the picture. The lip of my bracket was pointing inward toward the bike rather than out, which prevented the stud from protruding far enough out of the hole to fit the lug nut with the silver bracket provided, which also didn't look like the one pictured. The silver strut also didn't fit into the frame, so it was completely sideways and unusable. We actually had to remove the wheel completely from the frame, leaving the silver brace and placing the black brace on the spacer under the frame. So I put it between the frame and the spacer in front of the wheel. We've only worn it as much as possible and it doesn't seem to be used yet, but I'm really disappointed with this product. Especially disappointed that it came from Schwinn. It feels solid and well made, but the setup was ridiculous and it's a pretty standard bike, a girl's 20-inch beach cruiser, so we didn't try to put it on something unique. The instructions also mention the installation of an additional spacer provided which was not included and would in no way match the poorly fitting bracket design. If they were in the shape as in the photo I can say installation would be easy but they seemed delayed. I would send them back but I never take them off after the incredible effort of putting them on. I've seen a less mechanically inclined person not install them at all. So disappointed
