We grew up in the early 90's wanting to beat the game I hoped would be similar. And while there are some similarities associated with the dysentery diet, the main focus of the game is trading to make money, with winnings dependent on how much money you end up with. We went through whole games where nobody loses health points and all family members stay alive and in excellent shape. It's not a bad game, but it's not that different from a PC game, which we think is fun, where you can eat portions and relax. You can also avoid crossing rivers if you wish, and certain aspects of the game are unclear, e.g. B. when you use an item, it is thrown away or reused. We had very high hopes for this, but the focus on the money and the fact that there were cash wins at the end of the game threw Oregon off the track. It can be any trading and selling game and has nothing to do with the Oregon Trail.
