. The one I have has a pointed end (which I don't like and so I ordered these hoping to get a round one). The paper scale also doesn't look as solid as the others I've bought. Again, the scale is shifted by 0.002, just like on the other one. This shows 0.998 in DI and tap water at 70 degrees. My other reads 1.002 at 70 degrees, so who knows. It works well, the readings when setting it up are exactly the same as my other one. It's a spare because those things break. Just part of brewing
