I knew I was going to change the block's attachment and do whatever was necessary to isolate any contact with the two sliders on the connectors, but since I had on hand I installed and wired the block to the rod (one of the both) that had come out of the old Kenmore heater! To do something like this safety needs to be considered, both because of the heat this little devil generates and to make sure nobody can stick a piece of metal or a finger through the bars and get electrocuted or burned! I've got everything ready and working in my garage and this block and calrod pulls about as well as a toaster! I risk 1500 to 1700 watts! Love it!
