I think Bushnell needs to reconsider this point and how they handle complaints. Although I own other GPS devices, I purchased this product due to its small size and despite some bad reviews. I know some people don't bother reading directions (necessary due to GPS devices) and I expected a lot of bad reviews from these people. However, I found that the first problem stemmed from Bushnell's poor instructions that came with the device. There is no mention of moving the device towards the 8 to make it easier to align the device, but if you contact tech support it would be one of the first suggestions. I have used this device in an area I know well and have found it consistently points 25-30 degrees to the left of the target. While the device would have guided me in a general direction, it was certainly far enough away to cause major problems if I wasn't familiar with the property. I've even had a time where I could see my target clearly from about a mile away, and this deviation could cause major problems when relying on device information. I ended up sending the unit back to Bushnell for a replacement. The replacement block is very spotty in its accuracy and often behaves like the block I returned. I'm not sure if this is a bad design unless the Bushnell people bothered to test the replacement to make sure I didn't have any further issues. In any case, this experience definitely changed my opinion of Bushnell and I'm not sure I'll be considering their products in the future.
