This hitch is great if you have a trailer less than 25 feet long with a tongue under 500 pounds. Any more than that will give you problems. ! I have called and spoken to multiple technicians many times with no replies after explaining my situation. This hitch puts so little weight back on the front axle that it's not safe to tow a 30-foot camper and an 800-pound drawbar. I have to replace the brake material after 3 tows. I bent the hitch pin through the triangular plate to restore almost enough weight to the front axle to make it safe, after explaining this to tech support they claim I can tighten the chains even more!
