Total blackout - does what it's supposed to do

I live in an open plan studio between my bedroom and my bathroom. This obviously doesn't attract guests as people either have to go outside while someone goes to the bathroom or you basically hang out together in the bathroom. I got this to close the 'window' between the bathroom and the bedroom. Installation is relatively easy - you need to measure accurately when installing the brackets. The first time I got about 2 cm - and the blinds didn't hold. My fault, but make sure to measure accurately. ***TIP: I had an issue where I had a bead on a metal chain at the top (which you pull to pull the blinds up and down). So when I first tried to lower the blinds the bead got stuck and I had to take the blinds off the bracket I just spent an hour fixing it and you do this by making sure Make sure the bead is down when you first hang the blinds (this way they never reach the hinge). This wasn't in the instructions - you just have to find out. After installing it seems to work fine. I'm worried that the chain will derail and I'll have to disassemble the device to fix it, so I slowly pull it up and down. but as for the blind, it's a total blackout! does exactly what i wanted. If you've never been in my room you would never know that there was a huge 5x5 foot opening between rooms. Light doesn't go through at all. It has the elegant look I wanted. This is the curtain you need when you want to cover something up or completely black out. For this price the hardware can be a bit stiffer (swivel/pulley) but it works. and looks good!
