Key buttons stop working intermittently

I don't quite understand what's wrong with Vizio remotes, but they don't work very well. I love my Vizio Smart TV but this is the second remote with problems. Well, basically a problem: certain buttons randomly stopped working (e.g. right arrow! or something equally important). Getting a brand new set of batteries usually fixes the problem, but those aren't my batteries because it's the only device I have that does this to me. It seems like it's a different key each time, so it's not a bad key. And the TV remote shouldn't need new batteries every few days. Hope you have better luck than me!
