To be honest, I had imagined the air output to be a bit higher, not exactly like a hair dryer or something, just more volume. It has a relatively gentle airflow, but the temperature control is still very efficient. The temperature appears to adjust instantly as you turn the dial, which is ideal when trying to maintain a specific but constant level of heat input. You simply increase or decrease the temperature without having to pull the heat gun away from the product to wait for the temperature to adjust and rise. Aside from the air speed only having two speeds, low and low, the only thing I have is the quality of the air speed dial on the handle itself push, the switch doesn't really stop where it should and you have to slowly pull it back down until it clicks and turns the heat gun on. Going straight to the switch's top slider (below) doesn't cause any problems, only the first breakpoint doesn't grab well.
