Review on πŸ”Œ ORICO USB 3.0 Clamp Hub Adapter: Ultra-Portable USB Expander with Extra Power Supply Port by Mike Rubenstein

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Robust construction, good materials, external power supply required and possibly a longer USB AA cable.

Robust, reliable design with adjustable installation depth. The metal frame is solid and very well made, and the screw attachment works well. I installed them under the table, behind the table vertically and on top of the monitor. Everything works fine except for the curved screens. The aluminum color is nice and looks crisp. The forks are well made and have such tight connections that nothing falls out while still fitting satisfactorily. The only criticism is the cable. It's USB A to USB A. Yes, it's 3.0, but it's essentially proprietary. In addition, it is only 2.5 meters long. It's fine to connect to a monitor port, but it's not a good idea for performance. 1) It requires a micro USB power adapter to provide more power than flash drives, and 2) Plugging a hub into your monitor's hub is terrible for performance - it's best to plug it directly into a separate controller chip on yours computers can be connected . throughput.
