Review on 🖥️ Beelink Mini PC Windows 10 Pro - i5 8279U, 16GB RAM, 512GB NVMe SSD - 4K HDMI, WiFi, BT5.0, USB3.0 by Jose Hughes

I've had enough of my old i3 computer for a long time. No USB3, no SATA3 and no NVME. There was a time. I looked at a number of small form factor computers and based on price, size and reviews decided to give this one a try. Out of the box everything worked as advertised. The 512MB NVME was lightning fast. All 4 USB3 ports are working at max. The BIOS supported everything I needed to do. The only problem I had was that Wake on Lan stopped working after updating Windows 10 Pro. It turned out that Microsoft decided to remove the Simple TCPIP service. I added this again, allowed remote activation and it worked like a charm. 16GB of memory came on a single stick, so I have a spare DIMM slot if and when I decide to upgrade to 32GB. This is important as most comparable PCs come with 2 x 8GB Dimms. So to get to 32GB I would have to take out my existing dims and replace them with 2 x 16GB dims, doubling the upgrade cost. For me as a home cinema PC, dual-channel was not an issue, but if you like it, you can order it with a second DIMM to enable dual-channel operation. Please note that the WOL issue I encountered was a Microsoft issue. The SEI8 worked great right out of the box, but I wanted to update the operating system to the latest and greatest before setting it up for my home theater. This computer is quiet, which was important to me as it will be used as a home theater PC. I highly recommend this PC. Couldn't be happier.
