These are made of high quality hard plastic and fit my 18V Makita batteries perfectly. They allow for a variety of mounting options (vertical/horizontal, wall/shelf/bench/etc.) and because they come in 5 separate pieces, you can store batteries in multiple locations (garage, shed, workshop, etc.). The batteries are securely fastened and easy to insert/remove. The only downside is that they have to be purchased separately. It would cost Makite next to nothing to put something like this in every battery.
