Zalman has long been known for producing excellent premium refrigerated products, mostly at premium prices. However, recently they have started to offer products with the same quality and innovation at lower prices and this CNPS4X tower cooler is a great example of what it can do. This cooler cannot keep up with the significantly larger and significantly more expensive variants with heat pipes, but it doesn’t have to either. In this price range it competes with devices from cheaper brands or with standard coolers themselves. And in this respect it is absolutely brilliant. The temperatures you reach with this cooler are (pun intended) superior to standard coolers, and cooler temperatures always mean more durability and hardware performance. And when compared to other aftermarket cooling systems in this price range, you get Zalman's attention to detail and quality - and ease of use in the form of the same easy-to-use backplate found in pricier options. The RGB is a nice touch, and the built-in fan is actually pretty quiet. In general, this is a great complement to budget cooler competitors - and a reason to use the standard cooler less!
