Review on ❌ Red XLAB Nanoflator Triathlon Aero CO2 Inflator Head by Eric Hanson

Overcomplicated gear that can give you away in a race

Wow. Completely redesigned hardware, I've had a traditional Xlab CO2 inflator for years but it recently betrayed me when a rubber seal popped out when I pushed on the valve, resulting in my going home. So I decided to try this "new" thing. It turns out that this device forces you to screw in the valve, then pull it back, then put it back on the valve to inflate the tire. The problem is that when you're sweaty and in a hurry, the part that you have to "unscrew" to let the air out is really hard to do. Actually I had to use pliers to get the air out. Glad I had access to some.so, in short. Go with the old school valve.
