They are also suitable for single use only.
As others have said, they each require 4 AA batteries. Both flicker constantly, so if you've ever had a seizure, don't use them. They are also good for just one application, 20 minutes to an hour. Once they burn out, they stink and your room will smell for hours. Terrible product.
