This game doesn't make you a better player

Don't waste your time. This thing plays like someone with a bad lobotomy. His trades are weird. It's definitely not SAIK. He will not repeat the four card suits once, but twice. He jumps with an invitation hand. He usually bypasses 3NT cold contracts to play 5 minor and lose. He amplifies the number of cold contracts because he cannot imagine that an operator announcing an ad could be bottlenecked. I still don't understand what all his answers on 1NT mean. 2D and 2H appear to be some sort of extra translation that only promises a 4-card suit and can be denied by 2NT's offer if you don't qualify. He doesn't have a very strong opening other than 2NT. I will not forestall more than 2 weak bets. 2S could be 6 cards, or maybe 9, who knows? He has no idea how to even out or re-enter these trades. His deck of cards is simplified. Under no circumstances can he avoid it. Don't set a record, unlock a color, or break the connection between opponents' hands. In second place, she always closes, always the first card played to the trick. If you lead T to AKJ and don't see Q, you might as well be covering. He doesn't know how to set, play or defend NT contracts. Running a long suit discards winners, not losers. That's a lie. It never needs to lose agility and will require skill that no sane player would ever attempt because he knows where the high cards are. Despite all that, I use this thing a lot. And he knows a few common calls like blackwood and negative doubles. When he needs to perform quick tricks on defense, he's excellent at finding and getting Ruffs (because he "knows" the distribution). But it's amazing how badly he can play. My main playmode is to see how fast I can get 100 IMP against him in duplicate mode. And I'm not a strong player. Whoever programmed this thing is either not a very good bridge player or was really limited by time or equipment or something. BTW, I also agree with what other people have said about the display being hard to tell which suit is which.

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • Reliability
