ASUS is a leading brand that has been known for its reliable build quality since I started with computers over 25 years ago. I bought it to build for my father (a school teacher) and I will gladly and without hesitation buy it again for my next build. Since reliability is my top priority, I did not overclock the processor. I overclocked the RAM to its rated frequency of 3000MHz and this board did it flawlessly (always check the memory compatibility list on the motherboard manufacturer's website). This board worked great out of the box. A firmware update is available but was not required during the build with Ryzen 5 2400G (ASIN B079D8FD28), 8GB Corsair Vengeance LPX 3000MHz (ASIN: B0123ZBPDA) and XPG SX8200 240GB ADATA. NVMe SSD (ASIN B07BLNFSQN). I updated the BIOS after everything was up and running and the process was completely painless. Another reviewer pointed out that there isn't good documentation on how to connect the front panel connectors for things like the power button, reset button, hard drive LED, etc. I suspect he hasn't looked at the internet resources available from ASUS. A manual is included in the motherboard box and this additional information is available on the ASUS product support website. Riser for Ryzen-based systems.
