I was able to install a total of 77 cabinet handles in a new house I just moved into. The drill guide set definitely made the job easier and saved me many hours, however it is a little flimsy and not as accurate as I would like. Instructions were also missing, but I was able to go back to Amazon and look at a similar product and see how to use it. It wasn't difficult to find out. As it wasn't very accurate and rather flimsy I did the following: 1.) Adjust the kit so that the distance between the screws of the grip I want to install matches the distance between the screws. You must make sure the spacing is correct, otherwise it will be difficult to screw the handle. 2 holes I want to drill 4.) Unassemble the kit and use a ruler to measure the hole marks to make sure they are centered and aligned. I had to spend extra time measuring to make sure my buttons would fit perfectly. Another issue I had was that the ruler that came with the kit is quite short and I got the 21.25 inch pen from Amazon. I can't use the kit so I had to make some changes. I was able to purchase a 3ft grad cane from Lowes but the cane was a little thicker and wouldn't fix the kit. I had to use a hacksaw to cut the hole to fit. I have included photos to show that the newly modified kit works with the longer handle. Overall I am satisfied with the results of my work.
