Haven't installed them yet but they will do the trick. I was going to buy a stainless steel model instead, but they wouldn't be worth twice the price. I am building my own monitor stands for my small home studio and they will work just fine. However, they didn't come with self-adhesive pads, so be prepared to apply them yourself using a different adhesive. 3M makes a gray "VHB" tape that I will use, but buying a whole roll is expensive. People have been talking about the legs coming loose, so you need to use the strong hold method. The 3M material is similar to that used to attach nameplates (car names) to vehicles. All in all I think they should work.
