I used the Kensington Slimblade for several years until it wore out. I tried Orbit Fusion hoping it would be a feature update. The first impression was the spiral ring. It feels fluffy and gritty and sounds like other devices at a third of the price. The trackball rotates smoothly, but since the scroll ring is also an important element, this is unacceptable for 70 euros. Other reviews describe the same thing, so apparently this is how this device is made. Second, removing the cleaning ball (which all trackballs need on a regular basis) is impossible without using a pen or similar tool. Absolute design flaw: the hole to push the ball out is too small for a normal adult finger. I can't believe how bad this design flaw is. Every other trackball I've used from both Kensington and Logitech has allowed you to shoot the ball from above or below with no action other than a press or tap. practical designs.
