I'm new to planing so I bought this to help me get started. I was a bit hesitant to get them, thinking they were cheap given the price. Well they just got delivered and I have to say I'm really impressed! They come in their own wooden storage box with wooden sliding lid. Inside is a pad with cutouts for each knife. Plus a small piece of wood to carve your first spoon out of! I probably won't use this, but it's a nice touch. I didn't expect them to include a small polishing block, 4 pieces of sandpaper ranging from 60cw to 220cw and they give you 2 cut resistant gloves. Great deal, especially for the price! If you're new to carving like me, I highly recommend getting one of the starter kits! A big difference using one of these knives compared to the folding knife I use!
