Purchased to replace grilled wheels. Although the threaded part (bar) was supposed to be 1/2 in. by 13, it was more of a metric turn and I felt like I was almost stripping the bar to install it on the lock nut at the base of the grate. hand, but I had to work very hard to fit new rollers. They weren't 1/2 inch by 13, but very close and totally out of tolerance for the bolt rod specs. I thought they used a metric screw and called it SAE. Also, both nuts on the roller were metric, not SAE. However, once installed, they worked flawlessly.
