I would say this is the average price. I've seen a lot of reviews saying it's good value for money, but I'd say its performance is what you'd expect for the price, maybe a little less than you'd expect. It's not in the same class as the 35 2.8, 45 1.8 or autofocus 1.4 lenses they make in terms of image quality. If you want to take a wide-angle walk around a full-frame almost pancake lens for fun, this is for you. For web, it's fine at f2.8. If you always shoot stop, this can be a real winner. The autofocus is fine, at least on the a7iii.
