Cargo Trailer Restoration with Corroseal!

I have a 15 year old cargo trailer that's been sitting outside in South Central Florida in bad weather. Needless to say, it's pretty rusty. Actually I wanted to give it away and buy a new one. Then I came across this product and decided to give it a try. Also, I decided to do it in July and August when we have the rainy season and very hot and humid conditions. So I placed the trailer on blocks so I could get under it. Then I high pressure cleaned it. I also did some sanding with a wire brush on my cordless drill. And the grinding was mostly on the wings, which were the worst. Then I started applying Corroseal. I mostly applied it with foam brushes. When it interacts with rust it turns purplish black, otherwise just black. When it rains what was applied that day turns milky white, but when the moisture dries it turns purplish black again. It never rained until the corroseal I applied lasted at least a couple of hours. In fact, it only rained a couple of times at my party, maybe three times. Then when I applied DoItBest's version of Rustoleum over Corroseal. I used a flat black which came out really really nice. There was a small hole in one wing and I cut out a piece of galvanized sheet metal that was lying around and sealed the hole with epoxy. It worked pretty well. I am writing this review after 5 months and I have to say that I am very happy with the project and my trailer will now absorb the elements much better.
