This is a tower power strip. It offers 8 3-pin North American sockets on 4 sides and 4 USB-A sockets on one corner. It has on/off buttons that control 2 sides at the same time. The power cord is 76 inches long and terminates in a two-pronged North American plug. I find this extension very useful in my office. The tower form factor is large enough to accommodate blocks of transistors without cluttering up other outputs. The array of USB ports is great for powering USB devices, charging phones etc. While this tower plugs into any outlet easily as it only has 2 prongs, be aware that it is not fully grounded , which can be a problem. for some devices. All in all, this is a very handy power strip that's well designed to work with transistor blocks and USB power cables.
