I bought this for a 12,000 BTU Arctic King AC that was a year old and was sold by a neighbor. Great deal on AC but he lost the remote. The exact replacement cost almost $20, but to save money I opted for this one instead. It will not be programmed with any of the codes provided for this brand, but it is possible to have this remote device attempt to make contact. This worked for me. This remote control works with all the necessary functions of my air conditioner. But like almost all standard replacement remotes, it does not (in most cases) match the quality or functionality of the remote that originally came with your device. Here some buttons are not labeled for the correct functions in several things. Other keys work as marked. While it would be very annoying on a TV remote, for example, here it's just an AC remote, it's easy enough to figure it out without ruining your life. For me it works to the point where I have no regrets for not spending money on an original replacement. If that's all you need, this is recommended. It also comes with a rechargeable battery. That's great, because it's one of those flat, round ones that, while not usually hard to find, chances are you don't have one that just kicks your house.
