We ended up getting two remote controls for our single set top box (STB) provided by our cable company. When one failed, we were treated to installing "two remotes". My wife and mother in law didn't mind the price paid to return this utility. Setup was very easy, but I had to read the manual to figure out how to set the volume properly. Once that was done, I was also able to set up the unit to easily switch source inputs (STB, Roku, Antenna). My mother-in-law keeps forgetting to select a different device at the top of the remote, so this feature saved her from constantly having me or my wife "fix" the TV for her.
