Ideal upgrade or replacement. Suitable for the factory hole in the bumper. Just inserted.
Used to replace the factory bulb on a pickup truck. Easy installation. It took about 3 minutes. The old lamp had a wire. This one has two. I just stripped about an inch of insulation from the end of the white wire and wrapped it around one of the pins that go into the hole in the bumper and attached the dark wire to the original wire. Then simply push the lamp into the hole in the bumper. He stood up immediately and fitted perfectly. It has a very clean white light that illuminates the license plate well.
