Bright, functional and affordable projector

The NexiGo Native 1080P projector is a business-class projector. With a brightness of 9500 lux and a typical screen, this should be enough for a small to medium-sized conference room or home theater. The projector is relatively large, 12.5 x 9 x 4.3 inches (see photo), but portable enough to move from one room to another. Given its size, I don't think it's the kind of device you could take with you on the road. However, the block size is mainly determined by the very large lens (which is good as it maximizes light output) and the LED bulb. I first tried a device with an HDMI input and, like most projectors, it worked without any problems. Given the ability to connect to Wi-Fi, I tested this feature on my iPhone and iPad. The projector successfully mirrored displays on iPhone and iPad. The video quality was great. Watch a short video where I film an iPad screen projected onto my wall. Any "ripples" you see are due to my projection onto the textured wall. I found the color quality was good for things like faces, and the speaker could fill a small to medium sized conference room. Contrast was excellent and black levels were good. The projector generates a moderate amount of heat (the UL label states that it can draw up to 140W), so it must have a fan. It's a fact of life with any bright projector. Fan noise is typical for most projectors. The remote control is easy to use, easily navigating the source selection and setup menus. A great projector for the office or home cinema for the price. Lots of information: • The keystone correction is carried out simply using the mechanical button and the associated mechanical movement inside the projector. Many other projectors have digital correction via the menu settings. Mechanical correction is quick and easy, does not reduce resolution, and can provide some focus compensation for different projector distances from the top and bottom of the screen. The digital correction results in a loss of resolution and cannot compensate for different distances; Therefore, most likely either the top or the bottom of the screen is blurry. On the other hand, some projectors with digital compensation can also correct the position of a projector that is not horizontally centered on the screen. • The projector does not have a mechanical zoom. However, there is an option to reduce the image via the setup menu. So if you need to place the projector too far from the screen, you can use digital "zoom" to reduce the image size to fit the screen. This is at the expense of the permit. • The projector has two USB inputs that can be used to input video files or slide shows. For example, you can save a pre-recorded video to a USB drive and loop the video for continuous playback. I tested this option and it worked great. • The projector has a vertical height adjustment foot. You'll find the kickstand release button at the bottom center along the front edge of the device. • The top front panel has touch buttons for menu access. However, the remote control is much easier to use, so don't lose it.
