I recently installed a TP-Link router at home and I was very surprised how easy it is to set it up with a mobile application nearby or remotely over the internet and to control. Again, I was pleasantly surprised by some basic features, like nighttime light control or automatic restart in the middle of the night, or guest network pass-through (broadcasting from a device on the guest network to a device on the normal network). My previous routers from other brands lacked these much-needed features. And here's the thing: I've always had some complaints about routers from other brands, which clearly weren't enough. Not here with this brand. So when I had to equip a large house with a new router, I also chose this one from TP-Link. The reason for this particular model is compatibility with their single mesh solution. So I connected it. with some of their mesh repeaters and have coverage everywhere with nice features like band mixing: a WiFi network covering 2.4GHz and 5GHz. All of these features wouldn't be worth anything if the router itself wasn't stable, but after a few months of use I haven't had any issues at all. For the price this is a bargain!
