This rug is way better than I expected. It's so soft, not fluffy or plush, just soft and silky against the skin. I needed a very flat rug so no plush is ideal. I bought this for a (hopefully) temporary home school. The room had a wooden floor which combined with the plaster and plank walls created a noisy space which was very distracting for my ADHD teenager who had to share a 'class' with his younger sister. So far the carpet has only been smoothed every other day, I took 7x12 so it had pretty good waves. I cut it short to avoid a few things so I can't use it anywhere else, but the colors are so pretty I'll keep it as long as it lasts when the space is back in my sewing room.
