The glue wasn't very good, here's how to fix it:

The glue wasn't strong enough to stick. Here's what you should do: 1.Clean the surface with a microfiber cloth2. Dampen a corner of the cloth and wipe the surface until no wet streaks remain3. Take a lighter and heat the tape after removing the plastic strips4. Press firmly against the grill for two minutes. Looks great!
