Works well when used as part of the shipping process

We have used these ice packs a few times now and they have worked well for us through multiple freeze thaw cycles. We always pay attention to where we put the freezer bags in the freezer and in the containers to avoid punctures. One hole and they're almost done. We know from experience that there is an optimal way to keep food cold or frozen. First, make sure the food container is insulated and well insulated. Secondly, pre-cool the insulated container as much as possible. If available, we pre-chill frozen food with dry ice. Ice works too, but dry ice makes the pre-cool much colder. Third, remove all pre-cooling materials and remove residual moisture. Fourth: Fill the insulated container as much as possible. Fifth, add cold compresses wherever there are gaps or gaps. Since the ice packs are added last, the ice packs should be positioned closer to the top of the insulated container so that the cooled air flows from top to bottom. The advantage of freezer bags is that they don't drip onto food when defrosting as long as there are no holes in the bags! arrived safely. We do not ship dry ice because while dry ice is allowed on airplanes, it requires "special handling" which is expensive. As such, we only use dry ice for pre-chilling and pack as close to the shipping time as possible. Granted, there are other uses for freezer bags. However, they are reusable and their rectangular shape is well suited to our shipping containers. Sometimes there is a leak. We haven't been able to fix a leaky freezer, so we're getting rid of those that do. Another problem is returning packages from the freezer. Those we ship locally we can usually get. Those sent abroad become gifts for the recipient, which must be taken into account in the shipping costs. There have been a few complaints about shipping costs, but in general most recipients are happy that their products are intact and edible and understand that the packaging does just that. by price. When used in a cold or frozen food delivery process, they work great. Enjoy!
