We have used these ice packs a few times now and they have worked well for us through multiple freeze thaw cycles. We always pay attention to where we put the freezer bags in the freezer and in the containers to avoid punctures. One hole and they're almost done. Secondly, pre-cool the insulated container as much as possible. If available, we pre-chill frozen food with dry ice. Ice works too, but dry ice makes the pre-cool much colder. Third, remove all pre-cooling materials and remove residual moisture. Fourth: Fill the insulated container as much as possible. Fifth, add cold compresses wherever there are gaps or gaps.
