Got this for my 8 year old son hoping to encourage him to be more active after being lazy at home in 2020 with COVID-19 restrictions. He is trying to achieve his goals but is staying at home because of online school. he doesn't have many opportunities to be as active as he would like. So it could be a shame to miss your targets. I'm disappointed. I want to adjust his goals and increase them over time. It's not working. It comes with a fixed setting. I contacted Garmin support to find out how to change this and they confirmed it was fixed. I don't know why they expect all children to have the same movement goals. This seems to be a fundamental feature for such a device. He is happy with the watch. Has more features like stopwatch and timer which I didn't expect. But the display is difficult for me to read. There is a backlight when you press the button, but it's very dim. I would take the reduced battery life for a more usable display. If it dies or breaks. I will look for other options, I will not buy again.
