This webcam's image is decent. 30 FPS ensures decent motion response. If you want true HD motion, you need the 60fps version. The build quality seems to be good. The camera gets a little warm during use, but not critically. Bracket is not great. Because there is no adjustable hinge at the bottom of the clip, the camera doesn't fit well on the lid of my wife's laptop. It slips with the slightest movement. Instead we had to use the small tripod we had. That plus the fact that it's only 30fps made me buy a better webcam that was 60fps and fit better on its case. My wife is a teacher and video and audio clarity is a must for her. Now I use it on my old desktop on a tripod. The microphone is fine. It has pretty good gain but you will hear background noise as you can hear from the video. Overall, for the price, I would recommend it for non-professional/everyday use. If you're planning on attaching it to a thin laptop sleeve, you might be disappointed with the mount. If you're in a noisy environment or need truly pro-level audio clarity, you'll likely need a dedicated boom mic, headset, or other solution to truly achieve that pro-level clarity. I've had it for a while and haven't had any issues with build quality or performance so far.
