After this valve was installed on my 2021 Eco-Boost F150 Lariat 2021 and had about 20,000 miles on it I had this thought. About this valve: Pros: - Allows a 5/8" ID hose to be fitted instead of oil splattering all over the place when it flows onto the stabilizer bar - Works well with hard to reach skid plates - Doesn't fail completely over 20,000 miles Cons: - The latch on the lever almost failed in less than two years (see video) - The single o-ring on the plug that goes into the oil pan allows a lot of play against the plastic metal part - The valve body is unusually large causing the valve to buck slightly Pipes against the stabilizer bar (see pic) - Doesn't look like the original Viton o-rings (wrong color) which is why I'm concerned about o-ring failure in the future. β on a valve that needs to be aligned parallel to the flow path? - Expensive.
