The rubber bands used for mounting are not strong. One broke trying to fit a mirror to my Ford F-150. I actually bought 3 of these; for two of my cars and one for my lady's Mercedes ML350. The fact that the rubber band mounts even come close to the Mercedes mirror was out of the question. They were just too short, and after experiencing a failure on my F-150, I felt that stretching meant another break for the Mercedes. The camera is probably not bad, but I completely blew my money on the inability to install cameras. with broken ligaments.
