I bought this gun for its unique ability to find the right tips for the different paint materials I use. I've used it to spray high strength primers at a 1.8 tip and urethane basecoats at a 1.4 tip. This car has a three tone paint job and the PPS system is so easy to color change and easy to clean that I will be using this PPS system in all my spray guns. Definitely the right spray gun for most car painting jobs. The spray pattern can also be easily adjusted for smaller jobs. An operating pressure of 20 pounds is a little misleading as it takes a lot of compressed air to function properly. An average compressor with a power of 2 or 3 hp. It will be difficult to keep up with this gun when painting a large panel or an entire car. However, my 11 cfm supercharger at 90 psi got the job done with ease.
