I've had good luck with all the FJC products I've bought. They are very good quality for the price. This adapter is no exception. Unlike some 1/4" female to ACME 1/2" female cone plug adapters I have, this adapter has a flat mating surface with an o-ring inside so you don't have to over tighten it. to ensure proper sealing. It's a nice touch that reinforces the overall impression that this adapter was designed with quality in mind. Of course, it still has to be tight enough so that the pump doesn't loosen it. It doesn't come with a lid, which would be nice. However, it does come in a reusable clamshell case, so stay clean if you decide not to make it a permanent accessory for your pump. If you are looking for great value for money you can't go wrong with FJC.
