The correct color image is from my phone and the other image with a deep purple/red tint is from the TKKOK D80 IR night vision goggles. I understand that these are IR night vision goggles, but the video in the ad shows that they are used during the day and the colors are not heavily distorted. This leads me to believe that either the unit sent to me is defective or it is false advertising. I tend to assume that the device is defective and look for a replacement. Still, the device had to be checked for quality control, or more importantly, if it was and passed quality control, then the devices are so poor or built from such cheap materials that they quickly break or fail. Regardless, I would have expected better production and quality from a $300 item.
